I love this idea – all your basic survival items (the basics, anyway) come in a water bottle which can attach easily to the side of your backpack or slip into a side pocket. It’s see-through, too, so you can see the contents. And there’s lots of room for adding to it other essential items.

The great thing is its size – you could buy another survival kit and empty some of its contents into this one if you wanted to reduce its overall size. It’s also naturally waterproof and would float. Or you could try buying the smallest possible survival kit and just stuff it in here, too. (Check out this sardine tin first-aid kit, too).
